Recently, you can experience more services through HSBC China mobile banking.

Interbank Transfer in Real Time for Small Amount of Money

HSBC China has joined in “Electronic Banking Payment System” and mobile banking is now supporting real-time interbank transfer for small amounts in order to provide you more convenient transfer inward and outward services. Interbank CNY real-time transfer for no higher than CNY 50,000 will have free of charge and will not be restricted by weekend and holidays (except system or clearing maintenance). What’s more, simplified transfer information allow you to select bank name directly from bank list (within the same “Electronic Banking Payment System”). When transferring inward, you can now input either HSBC China card number or account number to easily complete transfer request.

View and Redeem Debit Card Points

If you are debit card customers, you can earn points by using debit card or participating activities. The points can be used to redeem gifts or get offers. 

If you are holding both debit card and credit card, you can acquire 2 types of points. Both points can be used together to apply for more delicate gifts and offers according to redemption rules.

HSBC “Step-up” Time Deposit Online Purchase

Manage Daily Transfer Limits

Nowadays, except going to personal online banking, you can also manage your daily transfer limits on mobile banking. It includes "transfer to my HSBC accounts" and "set daily limits by transfer type". But please kindly note that you can only decrease transfer limits on mobile banking. If you would like to increase it, you still need to go to sub-branch.

You can click on "More" item on bottom navigation, then select "Settings" and "Account Settings". You will find "Daily Transfer Limits" link and reach to the page by clicking it.

Facial Recognition

If you would like to add new payee account on mobile banking, now you can use facial recognition to complete safety verification instead of using token. Combining with recently released feature “ verifying by SMS verification code” feature (see below) , you can go through the whole transfer process, adding new payee account and transferring CNY, without using token if the daily accumulated transfer amount is no higher than CNY 50,000.

Online service smart agent – Xiao Feng

If you have any questions or want to know more about our services and products, you can click on customer service icon on top right of service landing pages or you can click on “Customer Service” button on “More” page. Our smart agent “Xiao Feng” will provide 7x24 online services for you.

3rd Party Payment with Password & SMS as authentication for small amount transfers.

On our mobile banking, if you want to transfer RMB to other people and the daily accumulated amount is no higher than CNY 50,000, you can use "log-on password" along with “SMS verification code” as authentication. If your RMB daily accumulated transfer amount is higher than CNY 50,000, you still need your token to complete the transfers. 

My payee

The “My Payee” menu will be separated from other menus on our mobile banking. The change will make it easy for you to manage your transfer payee list. You can select “All” on the home page and then select “My Payee” to enter the payee list menu.

Structured Products Online Purchase

You can view and purchase structured products which are within selling period on HSBC China mobile banking. Different capital protection levels and diversified structure for investment return will support you to capture global opportunities and explore sound investment plans in your hand.

Choose “Wealth” on bottom navigation and click on “Structured Products”. You can view and purchase all products within selling period as soon as you log on. You can also go to “Structured Products” page to discover more information.

View or Update Risk Profiler

If your "Risk Profiler" has been expired, or if your financial condition has been changed, now you can directly use mobile banking to view or update your risk profiler. It can not only help you fully understand your preference on wealth management and risk tolerance, but also assist you in selecting appropriate wealth investment products.

Completing from updating risk profiler to purchasing proper wealth investment products (e.g. Structured Products, QDII Fund) at the same time by easily clicking buttons on mobile banking will simplify the whole process and will definitely reduce your time. If you realize that your risk profiler has been expired, now you can update it by yourself on mobile bank instead of switching to online banking or going to sub-branch. (Attention: if you didn't build your risk profiler yet, you still have to go to sub-branch at the first time. Then, you can view and update it on mobile banking afterwards.)

Basic Credit Card Features

After registering your credit card on HSBC China mobile banking, you can enjoy following basic credit card features:

•  Credit card online application & status tracking

•  Credit card activation

•  Security management (e.g. Password Management, Affiliated Credit Card  Settings)

•  Temporary locks for different types of transactions on credit cards (Incl. transaction with card, transaction without card, ATM transaction & overseas transaction)

Repayment & Repayment Settings

If you are holding HSBC debit card or RMB deposit account, you can easily proceed repayment on HSBC China mobile banking (including RMB/USD single currency or dual currencies). In order to avoid any trouble or negative impact due to late repayment, you can set auto-repayment for RMB/USD statement by linking your HSBC debit card or RMB deposit account and selecting “full amount repayment” or “minimum amount repayment”.

If you didn’t have HSBC debit card or RMB deposit account yet, you can also use UnionPay Online Payment or La Ka La to complete repayment.

*Repayment via HSBC debit card or RMB deposit account: repayment will be received on the same day if transaction can be done before 4.30 pm. Otherwise, it will be received on the next day. Credit limit will be recovered afterwards

*Repayment via UnionPay Online Payment or La Ka La: repayment amount will be into your account on the next working day after transaction and credit limit will be recovered as soon as repayment amount is received.

 

Installment Businesses & Management

You can apply and manage installment businesses on HSBC China mobile banking, including:

•  Bill in installment: apply installment plan for the bill after the statement is generated

•  Transaction installment: apply installment plan for single transaction

•  Cash installment: convert your credit limit to cash in your HSBC debit card within cash advance limit and repay with ease by monthly instalments

 

E-points & Best Offers

HSBC China credit card e-points plan provides customers various kinds of delicate gifts or air miles. Customers can earn e-points by using credit card or attending activities/events and use e-points to redeem gifts or air miles.
